Introduction
The Faculty of Islamic Humanities, is dedicated to the re-reading and rebuilding of the scholarly heritage of the Islamic world with a central focus on human actions. Its mission encompasses describing, categorizing, interpreting, prescribing, and criticizing scientific point of views related to humanity. The Faculty of Islamic Humanities, based on the comprehensive education plan of Jamia Al-Mustafa , can host academic groups in Islamic studies and economics, Islamic studies and politics, Islamic studies and preaching and communications, Islamic studies and psychology, Islamic studies and education, ethics and education, Islamic studies and law, and Islamic studies and women's studies. Currently this faculty offers a bachelor degree in Islamic studies and women's studies, and master’s degrees in religion and media, and Islamic ethics with two orientations: philosophical ethics and practical ethics, and private law.
Objectives
The objectives of this faculty in line with organizational duties are:
- Establishment and expansion of relevant majors in current fields for bachelor and master degrees.
- Re-reading and rebuilding of the scholarly heritage of the Islamic world in humanities and related fields.
- Teaching students humanities based on Islamic sources.
- Recruiting and identifying compatible professors in the field of Islamic humanities.
