1.

What are the documents required for registration?

A recent passport photo                  

Important note: Hijab (headscarf) is mandatory for women

Photocopy of the most higher education qualification certificate issued by official educational centers is required

Important note 1: degrees recognized by ministry of education of the country of issuer are welcomed by MOU if approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (Iran)

Important note 2: an official confirmation or certificate of completion of the issuer is required if the degree certificate is not available at the time of registration.

Important note 3: it is mandatory to submit the required documents, maximum up to the first half-year exams.

 

Identity and residence documents

Photocopy of passport or valid identity document for non-Iranian;

Birth certificate, Passport, national Identity card for Iranian citizen who are living abroad is required.

 

Important Note: permanent residence document for the last 2 years is compulsory for Iranian citizen who are living abroad, otherwise according to the regulations of ministry of education of the Islamic Republic of Iran official certificate of Al-Mustafa International University will not be awarded to the graduates.

Do I take an official degree? What other degrees are awarded?

Al-Mustafa Online University grants its alumni degrees of associates, graduates and post-graduates recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Is the degree issued by MOU valid?

The degree issued by MOU is recognized by all countries that recognize E-learning.

4.

What is the educational requirement to become a MOU student?

for associate and graduate levels diploma is welcomed and for post-graduate levels you need to have a graduate degree

Is it possible to register first and then send the documents?

It is mandatory to submit the required documents, maximum up to the first half-year exams.

What is the registration process at MOU?

Registration is via sign up link at the website of MOU. To register you need to: inter your personal information, select the course, submit your documents and confirm registration. Then you should enter to your desktop via the user name and password given by the system. Finally when registration confirmed by related officers of MOU then you would be considered as student of MOU and you can enter the course.

How long does it take to receive acceptance confirmation?

Primary admission is after initial registration process and final confirmation by the applicant, and receiving an email containing username and password.

Logging in the educational system and course selection is open when registration and authentication of documents confirmed by the university. This will be announced to the applicants via E-mail.

8.

Can students of other centers of Al-Mustafa International University continue studying at MOU?

Yes, you can proceed to take transfer to MOU and you would be the student of MOU, when your course selection confirmed.

9.

How do I know about my admission?

At the beginning of every academic year you can enter your desktop by the user name and password given to you at the registration moment. Your first log in is considered as primary admission. Also you can contact the department of admission via the e-mail sent to your email at the time of registration

10.

Can PHDs in medicine register for post-graduate courses of MOU?

There is no limitation in relevance of documents for attending the courses. For registration please refer to mou.ir

11.

Can I join the graduate courses of MOU having associate degree of a different course?

There is no limitation in relevance of documents for attending the courses. Since you have associate degree you don’t need to submit your earlier degrees like Diploma or pre-university certificate.

12.

What are the criteria for acceptance testing?

Acceptance testing here means the final exams conducted at the end of the first semester for each of the lessons. Please note that in addition to the final scores, the midterm scores, researches and active participation in the online classes are also important in passing the acceptance testing.

13.

Is there an entrance exam for full-time courses?

Acceptance at MOU is restricted to the first semester. At the first semester students pass the units given by university and regarding the scores obtained at the end of the semester, including homework scores and participation in online classes, those who manage to obtain the passing score will have permission to register for next semester

14.

Is there any criteria to get the permission to register for the second semester?

Registration for the second semester is restricted to successfully completing the first semester earning the grade point average of at least 12

15.

Is there a possibility to register at MOU, if our degree is not recognized by ministry of education of the Islamic Republic of Iran?

degrees recognized by ministry of education of the country of issuer are welcomed by MOU if approved by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (Iran)

16.

What is the deadline for submitting documents?

 

Until the end of the first semester.

 

 

17.

Is it possible to register without pre-university degree?

for associate and graduate levels an intermediate degree (high school diploma) is welcomed

Note: intermediate degree is enough for non Iranian students who have been graduated at the intermediate level in Iran.

18.

What if I need to withdraw from a course? Is it possible to re-register for the next semester?

contact with the educational services office of MOU via your desktop to get guidance on how to use study leave or transferring the academic code to the next semester

19.

What if I fail the first semester?  Is it possible to apply again?

Yes it is. But please note that to apply again you need to follow all steps of enrollment from the beginning.

20.

What is user code?

 

Upon completion of registration and final confirmation by you, you would receive an email containing user code and password to enter your desktop at the educational system. The list of units to be studied for the first semester is available in your desktop at the beginning of the semester and  now you can begin the course

21.

What if I forget or lose my user code or password or both of them?

Please click on ‘forgot your password?’ then you can restore your user code and a new password via the email sent by system
