Abstract
One of the main themes of the ode is praise. This topic is one of the most common and oldest
topics in Persian poetry. Along with the flow of praise and its motivations, the praise of the
Prophet (PBUH) and the pure Imams (peace be upon them) also started and matured in Persian
literature a long time ago. Khaghani Shervani is one of the poets who addressed this issue. In
addition to poetic artistry and the use of various literary techniques in these praises, Khaqani,
considering the subject's reference to verses and traditions and religious events related to the era
of the Prophet (PBUH), as well as subtle and subtle references to other prophets (PBUH) and
the combination Their skill with the main subject has produced rare descriptions in praise of His
Holiness. One of the subjects of Khaqani's interest is the ascension process, which has depicted
this issue as beautifully as possible by using Quranic verses, especially the opening verses of
Surah Najm and hadiths related to this event. Animals with him and.... are among the other
issues raised by Khaqani in his prophetic praises. The comparison of Hazrat Khatami's rank
with other prophets and the superiority of the Prophet (PBUH) over him is another topic that
Khaqani has addressed. The description of the moral characteristics such as the generosity and
good nature of the Prophet (PBUH) was also not hidden from Khaqani's view. In this article, the
reflection of these verses and traditions as well as the religious events that Khaqani has used to
illustrate this topic in ten odes. Been investigated.
