Abstract
The current research was done with the aim of eliminating
linguistic dead ends or language studies that are relevant in the field
of meaning. To achieve this goal, grammar and semantics have
been examined from the perspective of linguistics in order to see
what mutual effects grammar and language have on each other. The
most important results of the research indicate that: semantics is the
study of language content and the scientific study of meaning,
which deals with a wide range of phenomena, including the nature
of meaning, the role of syntactic construction in the interpretation
of sentences, and the influence of usage and the speaker's beliefs in
understanding utterances. Semantics wants to give us a way and a
tool to study meaning that will help us to be scientific in examining
texts and discourses. In the present study, which was conducted in a
descriptive-comparative way, the author is trying to provide a kind
of criticism, but not in the sense of literary criticism, and a kind of
scrutinizing and precise method of a discourse or text through
semantics.
Keywords: Linguistic studies, grammar, semantics, language,
