Bayazid Bastami is one of the mystics of the 2nd and 3rd centuries of Hijri,
many sayings and anecdotes have been narrated from him and about him in
various texts. Bayazid is one of the mystics who, according to Hajowiri, is
considered one of the leaders of the Companions of Sukar in the discovery of
Al-Mahjub. In addition to the book Al-Nunur of Sahlghi and the order of the
public of Kharqani, which was written specifically for Bayezid, this great
mystic is also mentioned in other mystical books. Attar Nishaburi, one of the
poets of the 6th and early 7th centuries, as a mystic poet by profession, has
narrated anecdotes and sayings from mystics and famous people during his
mystical poems on the occasion of the topic. Bayezid Bastami is one of these
mystics, whose sayings and anecdotes have been narrated by Attar. In Tazkira
Al-Awlia, the largest number of stories are from Bayazid Bastami, and this is a
sign of Attar's special attention to this mystic. In this article, an attempt has
been made to analyze and analyze the stories and sayings that Attar narrated in
his four didactic masnavis about this mystic, and the mystical, moral and
behavioral points of Bayezid in these stories from a semantic point of view.
Some of Bayezid's mystical thoughts in these stories and sayings are:
