Evaluation of “Radif” in “ Dasht bayazy” ‘s

abstract

Radif is a word or more that follows rime and repeat in all verses. Radif is
specifically for Persian poems especially in sonnet. So far we can say few good
Persian poem especially in sonnet is without radif. Statistics show “Dasht

bayazy”’s sonnets are with radif except a few numbers. In this essay, we
indicate the musical and semantical role of radif in “vali”’s sonnets and
evaluate the effect of radif on persian poems based on verbal, propositional

and radif in sonnet. The current research, which was carried out using a
descriptive-statistical method, is a continuation of the investigation of the row
and its evolution in Persian poetry. The method of research in this article is to

take the frequency of all the sonnets in "Vali Dasht Biyazi" divan and present
the results of these statistics.
