               Abstract

The current research was done with a library method and a
descriptive-comparative approach, and the purpose of its writing is
to investigate the impact of the Persian language on the vocabulary

of Indian languages. These includes Kashmiri, Punjabi, Haryanvi
(dialect), Urdu, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati. Many Persian
words are used both formally and informally in Indian languages.
Persian poetry greatly influenced Urdu poetry. Some Persian izafat
in Urdu poetry is provided in this page. For hundreds of years, this
fusion process was ongoing. Over 800 years ago, Persian was

               India's official language.
